LIPA Management Reviews Proposed Act…Submits To National Legislature Soon
(Press Release- December 10, 2024-Monrovia, Liberia) The Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) yesterday, December 10, 2024 begun reviewing the proposed Act for onward submission to the National Legislature for enactment into law. The proposed Act according to the committee which seek to repeal the Act of 1969 will give LIPA autonomy and other authorities that will help to elevate the institute to its counterparts’ level in the region such as the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and etc.
The Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) mandate is to strengthen the administrative functions and professional capabilities of the Government of Liberia, the public and private sectors through trainings of personnel and individual participant. The institute is also responsible to executes research of public administration and consult with the purpose of developing maximum utilization of potential sources as it relates to talent and manpower development.
