LIPA, SAWYER FOUNDATION SIGN MOU TO STRENGTHEN GOVERNANCE
(MONROVIA, LIBERIA, March 10, 2025): The Management of the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Amos Claudius Sawyer Foundation (ACSF) which seeks to establish a frame work for cooperation between the two institutions.
The ceremony which was held at LIPA’S facilities in Doemah Margibi County will support capacity development aimed at improving public sector governance, promoting efficiency through skills training and knowledge transfer to key integrity institutions and facilitating resource mobilization to strengthen human and institutional capacity at LIPA.
The key objectives of the MOU are as follow: Collaborate on programs that enhance governance and Administrative efficiency with in public institutions; Facilitate knowledge transfer initiatives that strengthen key integrity institutions in the public sector; Mobilize financial and technical resources to reinforce the operational capacity of LIPA; Provide onsite support and capacity building to strengthen LIPA staff and Stakeholder’s capacity and Establish a frame work for ongoing communication and collaboration between both parties. The ceremony was graced by the Top Management of the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) with its Director General Honorable Nee-Alah Varpilah signing the MOU along with his counterpart from the Amos Claudius Sawyer Foundation.
