About LIPA
The Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) is the Government of Liberia’s premier institution for public sector training, leadership development, research, consultancy, and institutional capacity building. Established by an Act of the National Legislature on May 13, 1969, and fully operational since 1972, LIPA was created to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency, professionalism, and accountability of Liberia’s public service. For more than five decades, LIPA has developed professionals and strengthened institutions through practical training, executive and leadership development, applied research, consultancy, and institutional support. The Institute equips current and future leaders with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to deliver ethical, accountable, efficient, and results-oriented public service.
LIPA Future Campus
LIPA is upgrading its Doemah Town Campus to create a modern, purpose-built national center of excellence for capacity development in Liberia. The future campus is envisioned to provide an innovative learning environment that supports professional training, leadership development, research, digital learning, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
